What the desk holds

Run as many boards as the work needs. Each has its own columns. Rename a column, add more, set a card limit. Over the limit, the count turns. On a phone, arrows page one column at a time.

Sample stays put as a guide. You cannot edit or delete it. Your boards are where you write.

A card is one job. Title, description, due date, who holds it, colour, class of service, a picture URL, a blocked note, and marks. Drag across columns, including into an empty one. Click to rewrite. Archive instead of delete when you may need it back.

A column can cap how many live cards it holds. The count on the column is the honest number. Set the cap from the column menu. This is ordinary kanban: limit work in progress so the line moves.

Cards with a due date sit on the month. Pick month and year from the title. Work without a date waits in Unscheduled — drag it onto a day. Drop it back to clear the due.

No account is required to try the board. Cards stay in this browser. Filter, search, and archive run locally. See Privacy for what leaves the device when you use Studio kit or sign in.

Export and import are per board, as JSON, on your machine. If you sign in with Google you can also save the current desk to a private cloud copy and load it on another device. Import only a file you trust.
